ABOUT CAP21
CAP21 is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
the creation of
new work,
the development of
new talent,

new audiences.
In 2000, The
New York Times called CAP21’s production of The
Immigrant “a deeply satisfying new musical.”
Most recently, CAP21 produced
Debra Barsha’s
A Womb With A
View, Pages: A New Musical by Will Van Dyke and Josh
Halloway and The 60’s Project

Classics Professor, Goddess Wheel
with music by Galt MacDermot and lyrics by Matty Selman;
Stuart Ross and Debra Barsha’s Radiant Baby;
and a new version of Starmites by

The CAP21 Conservatory was founded in 1993 by Frank
and Eliza Ventura
as a response to the need for in depth acting training
in musical theatre. The mission of the Conservatory is
to train actors who sing and dance as well as to provide
performance outlets for its students. Since 1995,
over 60 CAP21 alums have been cast in 70 different
Broadway shows including 42nd Street, Annie Get Your
Gun, Cabaret, Fosse, Hairspray, Jane Eyre, Les
Miserables, Mamma Mia, Man of La Mancha, Oklahoma!, The
