June 3, 2013 - June 29, 2013
Playing at the CAP21 Theatre
IF [OR WHEN] THE ROOF FALLS IN is a co-production with Rescue Agreement and is being created through the CAP21 New Artist Residency.
The show is a 1.5 hour semi-immersive performance that utilizes new technology and stage illusion to create a story of memory. Relationships are nothing more than a summation of the memories we share together. Today, technology relieves us of retaining a wealth of information, instead allowing us access to anything, anytime and anywhere. At the fabric of our modern existence is shared experience, which is being rapidly replaced by vicarious digital experience. Through cutting edge repurposing of technology and a permissive theatrical environment, we will explore the bonds that tie us together in the modern age.
The cast includes Brittany Allen, Lauren Farrell, Kirin McCrory and Matthew Webster. The piece is directed by Gemma Kaneko and Grant McDonald, and designed by Sean Daniels (lights), Sydney Davis (costumes), and Grant McDonald (media).

F#%KING UP EVERYTHING is a rock musical comedy with heart. Set in today's Brooklyn indie music scene, it is an old-fashioned boy-meets-girl love story for the 21st Century. When these hipsters aren't true to who they are, they screw up everything. Especially love. And no one screws up more than children's puppeteer Christian Mohammed Schwartzelberg when he meets singer-songwriter Juliana, the girl of his dreams.

Written by Karen Mason & Barry Kleinbort
"With one of the most powerful voices out there, Karen Mason once again brought Brian Lasser and his music to life."
February 4 - February 13, 2013
Karen Mason (Wonderland, Mamma Mia!) stars in this one woman show, which is a tribute to her good friend and colleague, Brian Lasser. Lasser was a composer/lyricist and won an Emmy for his song "Hold Me". He also was Mason's Music Director before his death in 1992. Join Karen as she explores sixteen years of discovery, friendship, laughter, music, and heartache through the songbook of Brian Lasser.
In Addition to the many roles Mason has played both on Broadway and Off-Broadway, she also has numerous awards under her belt including ten MAC Awards (six in which she won Best Female Vocalist of the Year), three Bistro Awards, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and two Drama Desk Nominations.
