Corrie holds a BFA in Drama with an emphasis in Musical Theater from NYU/ CAP21 studio, where she graduated with honors and an award for excellence at CAP21. She is currently on the dance faculties of CAP21 and 92nd St Y Harkness Dance Center teaching tap. Corrie also serves as an acting teacher and project director for several 92nd St Y youth programs. Prior to attending NYU, Corrie had performed in over 25 musicals regionally from Annie to A Chorus Line and Into the Woods. Her first professional theater role was before age 10 as Molly in Annie at Starlight Theater. While Corrie has directed and choreographed NY-based musical productions of Bye Bye Birdie and How To Succeed…, she has focused her creative and production management skills in the corporate theater and special events spheres, working with clients including Google, Samsung, Bayer Diagnostics, United Way of America, NY Yankees, NY Building Congress, and NYU/Tisch. She has traveled as far as Macau, China, on the producing team for the commissioned musical revue, Broadway Rhythm 2002, with Barkley Kalpak Associates. Corrie is currently collaborating with Derick K Grant, an original cast member of Broadway's Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk, to develop several new musicals, which showcase the next generation of tap dancers as well as with Manny Moreira, lead guitarist for Broadway's In the Heights on a new theatrical project entitled The New Deco Orchestra.
