About Studios

About CAP21 Studios:

Collaborative Arts Project, a.k.a, CAP21 was founded in 1993 by Frank and Eliza Ventura to create a home where theatre artists could bring their work to life and continue honing their skills in a collaborative environment.

CAP21 Studios is yet another facet of the founding vision of providing a professional, clean, and helpful environment for theatre artists. With 19 upscale and maintained spaces, CAP21 Studios is able to support dance, vocal, and acting rehearsals, as well as providing venues for most theatrical readings and workshops.

Matthew Groff (Studio Manager) With over five years of studio management experience, Matthew is proud to be working with CAP21. In the theatrical world, Matthew has worked as a producer, director, actor, mime, and puppeteer all throughout New York City. It is from those personal experiences which have enabled him to understand the needs that professionals have when it comes to rehearsal space.
