Submissions Guidelines

CAP21 accepts recommended and agent-submitted works only. Materials for consideration must not be optioned, published, or produced in New York City.

All submissions MUST include the following information:

Submission Requirements for Plays:

Cover Letter
Writer resume
Writer Bio
Letters of Recommendation
Play synopsis
Development/production history (if applicable)
First 30 pages of the play

Submission Requirements for Musicals:

Cover Letter
Writer resume
Writer Bio
Letters of Recommendation
Play Synopsis
Development/Production history (if applicable)
Full Libretto (no score)
CD of selected songs
