Describe your experience with Summer Stock NYC:

Summer Stock NYC was a great learning experience and opportunity to meet and work with an amazing and talented group of people.

What did you learn from working in a professional theatre setting?

I learned to always maintain a respectful and positive attitude and to always give 110% in rehearsals.

What was the most successful aspect or element of your experience?

The opportunity to collaborate with and learn from amazing performers, directors, and choreographers. Everyone put such inspiring work into the show and I think we succeeded in creating a joyous celebration of musicals that was grounded in truth and honest joy, rather than pure fluff.

Are there any other comments you can share to provide insight for future participants in Summer Stock NYC?

Summer Stock NYC is a great opportunity to meet and work with theater professionals- in NYC! That's what sets it apart from other Summer Stock jobs. You're living, rehearsing, and performing in the city, getting a taste of being a professional New York actor. That, and the relationships I've made and everything I've learned, has made this experience truly special.
