Describe your experience with Summer Stock NYC:

SSNYC helped me grow and was nothing but a positive experience. I learned how to work with people with tons of professional experience and also the ins and outs and ups and downs that go along with working with my peers. Being able to perform with women of such talent and experience was such a treat and is something I will never forget. It was also amazing to do a summer stock show in New York City and I was so grateful to be a part of it.

What did you learn from working in a professional theater setting?

I learned many things. I learned to always trust and listen to your dance captain. I learned that people talk and that you should always be respectful to everyone with whom you are working. I learned that it is important to retain choreography and music in a fast manner.

What was the most successful aspect or element of your experience?

Being able to work with such talented performers such as Karen Mason and Colleen Zenk was one of my favorite aspects of this experience because I was able to ask questions, observe their process as actors and performers, and learn from their professionalism and positive attitudes about everything.
