Michael has been teaching, directing, and performing in New York City since the beginning of his undergraduate career. After graciously graduating with honors from the NYU/CAP21 training program in 2009, he went on to begin his Masters of Arts Degree at the Teachers College of Columbia University. In his short professional career as a musician and actor, Mike has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Royal Shakespeare Conference, Upright Citizens Brigade, Joe's Pub, South Street Seaport, and CAP21. Mike has studied improvisation with the Experimental Theatre Wing and Upright Citizens Brigade. He has studied stage combat with the National Stage Combat Guild, and he has researched and studied Buddhist acting with professors and performers at NYU and Naropa University in Colorado. Mike is a proud member of Kappa Delta Pi, the international education honors society as well as being on the central advisory board for the Teachers College chapter. Mike is also a proud member of Courtesy of Tino, a New York City based jam band.
